Ancient Future brings together live music, ecstatic dance, ceremony, inspiring conversations, workshops and a community of people who care deeply about how we live, relate and shape the world around us.

Many old systems no longer feel like they fit, while new ones are only beginning to emerge. This gathering is for people who want to meet others asking similar questions: artists, builders, entrepreneurs, healers, scientists, facilitators and curious humans exploring what comes next.
Wake up with a swim. Dance barefoot until sunset. Share meals with strangers who become friends. Sit around the sacred fire long after the music ends. This isn't a festival you rush through. It's one you get to live inside.
Ancient Future Gathering is the beginning of something larger. Many collaborations, friendships and projects will continue long after the festival ends, leading into the Emergent Future Conference in 2027 and the wider community growing around it.

You can book a place in a glamping tent with a mattress, bring your own tent or choose one of the nearby accommodation (hotels or airbnbs) in Pápa and the surrounding area.

Pápai Tavak offers everything needed to slow down and fully arrive.
Two lakes for swimming and quiet reflection, set among trees, one hour from Bratislava and two hours from Vienna and Budapest.
An on-site spa with sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, for anyone who wants to properly rest between the days.
With only 750 participants, the gathering stays intimate enough to feel like a temporary village rather than a crowd.
Ancient Future Gathering may be our first edition, but we are proud creating Ecstatic Dance Events festivals, retreats and transformational gatherings across Central Europe.

In March 2027, the Emergent Future Conference takes this further, with more time for applied solutions, working groups and real partnerships. A permanent Hub is also taking shape.
